The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
